Professionals
Open Arms CAFS provides training, consultation, and professional support for people working in behavioral health, social services, case management, education, and other helping professions. Whether you are looking for additional training, support with a challenging case, or a space to strengthen your professional skills, services can be tailored around what you are looking for.
Training
Training can be provided for individuals, small groups, or teams and can be developed around specific needs or areas of interest.
Training topics may include behavior, trauma-informed care, case management, working with children and families, caregiver support, documentation, professional boundaries, communication, and other topics related to behavioral health and human services.
Have a training need that isn’t listed? Reach out and tell us what you’re looking for.
Professional Consultation
Sometimes you need another person to talk something through with.
Professional consultation can be used to discuss challenging situations, brainstorm approaches, review resources, work through barriers, or get another perspective on something you are facing in your work.
Consultation does not replace clinical or credentialing supervision when supervision is required.
Supervision
Professional supervision services are being developed as Open Arms CAFS continues to expand.
Additional information about available supervision, eligibility requirements, and scheduling will be added as these services become available.
Workshops & Small Group Learning
Not every training needs to be a formal presentation.
Open Arms CAFS can also provide smaller workshops and learning opportunities where professionals can discuss a topic, ask questions, practice skills, and learn with others working in similar settings.
Topics and formats may change throughout the year based on interest and availability.
