ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) parent training is a program designed to teach parents effective strategies to manage and improve their child’s behavior using principles of behavior analysis. It involves educating parents on how to reinforce positive behaviors, reduce challenging behaviors, and promote skill development in their children, often tailored to those with developmental disorders such as autism.

Parent training can benefit your family by providing you with tools and techniques to address challenging behaviors, improve communication, and create a more positive and structured home environment. By learning these strategies, parents can help their children develop essential life skills, reduce stress, and enhance overall family dynamics.

A typical parent training session involves a combination of education and hands-on practice. Parents learn about behavior principles, such as reinforcement and extinction, and how to apply them in real-life situations. Sessions may include role-playing, reviewing specific behavior plans, tracking progress, and receiving feedback from a trained ABA therapist. The goal is to empower parents with the knowledge and skills needed to support their child’s development effectively.

Life coaching is a collaborative process where a trained coach helps individuals identify their goals, overcome obstacles, and develop strategies to achieve personal and professional growth. It focuses on enhancing self-awareness, setting realistic goals, and creating actionable plans to reach those goals, ultimately helping clients lead more fulfilling lives.

Life coaching can benefit you by providing clarity on your goals, improving your decision-making skills, and boosting your confidence. A life coach can help you stay accountable, overcome limiting beliefs, and develop a structured plan to achieve your aspirations. Whether you’re looking to advance your career, improve your relationships, or enhance your overall well-being, life coaching offers personalized support and guidance.

During a life coaching session, you can expect a focused and supportive conversation where the coach listens to your concerns, asks insightful questions, and helps you explore your goals and challenges. Sessions may involve setting specific objectives, discussing strategies to overcome obstacles, and creating action plans. The coach provides feedback, encouragement, and accountability to help you stay on track and make progress toward your goals. Sessions are typically tailored to your unique needs and aspirations.

The first session is 90-120 minutes with both parent and child to be able to observe child to understand baseline. Every session after is 60-90 minute sessions with the parent only. There is a minimum of 11 weekly sessions up to 17 sessions depending on needs of each client.

Every session the parent/guardian will be heavily involved. The sessions will have “homework” for parents to do with their children and bring back data for weekly sessions with provider. This is very critical as a parents/guardians are key in making this program work that has been set in place.

Each weekly session is recorded and uploaded for the purposes of training and compliance but everything is kept confidential using a HIPAA compliant web-based system. Therapists receive weekly to bi-weekly supervision and coaching.

Currently, all sessions are remote (online) sessions, in the future, there may be options for in-person sessions.

There are 16 weekly GROUP sessions that are 100 minutes long, plus 16 weekly 15 minute one on one sessions.

The content of sessions is always kept confidential between child and Coaches. There will be regular reviews that will take place that we will discuss a broader theme of play and engagement in sessions and how they haves progressed.

To start, there is a minimum requirement of 10 sessions. A review will then be held after 5 sessions to discuss the child’s progress and next steps. Many require mote than 10 sessions, but this will always be discussed with parents/guardians.

Financial budgeting has nine lessons. Most classes meet once a week for nine weeks to go through one lesson each week. The sessions usually last one to two hours to give plenty of time for activities and discussions.

You know how the saying goes: “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The next best time is today.” The same goes for your money! Every day you wait to take control is another day you have to live with all this stress, fear and uncertainty about the future.

And we get it—you might be ashamed about some mistakes you’ve made with money. Or feel like you’ve wasted so much time. Or maybe you’re counting on a bigger income to fix the problem.

That’s okay! We’ve all been there!

In class, there’s no judgment. No shame. Just a bunch of people just like you all trying to figure this money stuff out together.

It doesn’t matter where you’re starting from. Just. Start.

We require a minimum of three months. Although on average, most people find coaching more beneficial than they realized and stay on longer than they initially anticipated—typically 9 months to a year.

People are tired of doing what they “should” do and are ready to do something special and meaningful for the rest of their lives. Problem is, many can’t see it, or if they can, they can’t see a way to reorient their life around it. A coach can help them do both.

People are realizing how simple it can be to accomplish something that several years ago might have felt out of reach or like a pipedream. A life coach is not a miracle worker (well, they are, sometimes) but a life coach does have a large tool kit to help the Big Idea become a Reality. Fortunately, people now have time and resources to invest in themselves in this kind of personal growth.

And we get it—you might be ashamed about some mistakes you’ve made with money. Or feel like you’ve wasted so much time. Or maybe you’re counting on a bigger income to fix the problem.
